A city guide, not another middleman

Cusco and the Sacred Valley have thousands of good businesses and no decent way to find them. That's what we're fixing.

If you're looking for a place to stay in Cusco, you end up on platforms that charge between 15% and 25% commission. That percentage comes out of the price you pay, or the margin of a family-run hostel with a few rooms. And small trekking agencies, artisan workshops, neighborhood cafés, and local guides barely show up anywhere.

What we do

PuroCusco lists businesses in Cusco with the information you actually need to decide: what they offer, how much it costs, what hours they're open, where they are, and how to message them. Nothing more. Once you find what you're looking for, you talk to them directly on WhatsApp.

What you'll find

Stay, Eat, Tours & trekking, Spiritual & holistic, Wellness, Crafts & shops, and Services — organized by area: Cusco centro, San Blas, Pisac, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero, Maras, and Yucay. In the spiritual and holistic category we list experiences so you can learn about them: we do not promote ceremonies with medicinal plants or say how to use them.

How we fund this

Businesses pay a monthly subscription to be in the guide and to keep their listing up to date. We don't charge a booking commission, we don't handle payments, and we don't stand between the visitor and the business.

  • The price you see is the business's price. No platform markup.
  • No one buys a better spot in the guide: featured placement is marked as such.
  • A business that stops paying comes off the guide — no outdated listing left floating around.

How we choose what gets listed

Before publishing a business we confirm it exists, that it's open the hours it says, and that the contact person is the right one. The team takes the photos or the business approves them. If something changes — price, hours, owner — we update the listing.

Who we are

A small team that already runs PuroMáncora, the business guide to Máncora, in Peru, and is now bringing it to Cusco with the same idea: honest information and direct contact, with no commissions.

Is your business missing?

If you run a hostel, a trekking agency, a café, a workshop, or a service in Cusco or the Sacred Valley and you're not in the guide, get in touch. We're adding businesses gradually so every listing is done right.
